Joe & DD / August 30, 2014

Joe & Danielle - DD for short, are a unique and quirky couple from Akron, OH.  They love music (Joe's plays guitar and sings vocals in the band Northern Spy), skateboarding and everything fun, and wanted to convey this to all their quests.

When I met with them, we threw around a few different ideas and kept coming back to their love of music, specifically vinyl (old 45s).  From there the idea of this Save the Date was born - utilizing one of  their engagement photos.

The Save the Date's were such a hit - Joe and DD wanted to carry the record theme into their invitations and incorporate it in every aspect of their day.  Check out these great invitations we created for them.  The reply card featured one of their favorites - Mad Libs!

I was so excited when Krista and Justin asked me to be a part of their special day.  As you can see from this picture, they are a crazy, fun couple who wanted to convey that energy in their wedding decor.  We decided on a bunting theme - with lots of color and sparkle.  Check out the custom decor we created for their special day!
